Dr. Sanders is a Clinical Assistant Professor and a member of the Division of Minimally Invasive Gynecology Surgery in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Peter Lougheed Centre, University of Calgary, Calgary, Alberta. He completed his undergraduate education at McGill University, his medical doctorate at the University of British Columbia, his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Calgary, and his fellowship in Advanced Gynecologic Surgery and Master of Science at the University of Toronto. Dr. Sanders’ clinical work and research revolves around complex benign gynecologic surgery, specifically the laparoscopic treatment of endometriosis and fibroids. He also has a specific interest in advanced hysteroscopy for the treatment of benign intracavitary pathology, abnormal uterine bleeding, intrauterine adhesions, and Mullerian anomalies. He is also a member of the invasive placentation team at the University of Calgary. He is an active member of undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, and is involved in surgical mentorship & preceptorship across the province.

Dr. Catherine Allaire: Biographical profile Dr. Allaire is a Clinical Professor in the UBC Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology and is Head of the Division of Gynaecologic Specialties. She is the Medical Director of the BC Women’s Centre for Pelvic Pain and Endometriosis. Dr. Allaire is past President of the World Congress on Endometriosis and past President of the Canadian Society for Advancement of Gynecologic Excellence (CanSAGE). She is a Board member of the International Pelvic Pain Society (IPPS). She is co-lead of EndoACT Canada, a national advocacy group dedicated to driving policy action on endometriosis. Dr. Allaire has co-authored many national guidelines on benign gynaecologic conditions and published over 100 peer reviewed publications. Her current clinical and research focus is on the etiology and management of pelvic pain and endometriosis.

Ally Murji CA

Dr Murji is Associate Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology at University of Toronto. He graduated from the OB/GYN residency program at University of Toronto. He then completed a two-year fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at McMaster University. His training focused on advanced pelvic surgery. He also completed a Master’s in Public Health from Harvard University. He has a keen interest in outcomes research and quality improvement. Dr Murji has an award-winning research program which has been recognized nationally and internationally. He also established an AAGL-accredited fellowship training program in advanced pelvic surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital which focuses on endometriosis, reproductive surgery and robotics. Dr Murji is the Head of the Division of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at University of Toronto.
