Formed at the school of Clermont Ferrand (FRANCE) he specialized in endoscopic surgery, being the chair of the Gynecologic Endoscopy Unit at Macedonio Melloni Hospital, Milan, where he is actually head of Obstetrics and Gynecology Unit at Macedonio Melloni Hospital – University of Milan. Speaker/chairman at more than 200 national and international scientific events, he is author and co-author of more than 150 scientific publications including abstracts, chapters of books and articles on national and international journals. He performed as first operator more than 5000 surgical vaginal, abdominal and endoscopic procedures in benign gynecology

Mohamed Mabrouk is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Minimal Access Reproductive Surgeon, with special interests in endometriosis, advanced endoscopic surgery. Currently he is: • Co-director of the Cambridge Endometriosis Centre, Cambridge University Hospitals, UK. • Consultant gynaecologist and endometriosis specialist at the Cleveland Clinic London (CCL) • Director of Cambridge Endometriosis and Endoscopic Surgery Unit (CEESU) Centre at the Spire Lea Hospital, Cambridge, UK • Adjunct Professor of Gynaecology in the University of Southern Denmark, Odense, Demark. • Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Alexandria University, Egypt. • President of the Middle East Society of Gynaecologic Endoscopy (MESGE). • Member of the Advisory Board of the European Endometriosis League (EEL) He received his training and earned the European Board in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Bologna University, Italy. He obtained his PhD in Endometriosis management from VUMC, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He worked as a consultant Gynaecology Surgeon in the Sacred Heart Hospital in Negrar, Verona, Italy. He worked as a senior consultant in the Endometriosis Centre of Bologna University Hospital, Italy. Mabrouk is a recognised International Expert in the field of endometriosis, surgical anatomy and minimally invasive surgery. He is author and co-author of numerous International, peer-reviewed publications and three books.
